Charles Wayne Rowe Sr.
COLUMBIA — Charles Wayne Rowe Sr. of Columbia died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, at his son’s home in Sidney, Maine. He was 68.
Mr. Rowe was born on June 1, 1943, in St. Louis to Charles and Berniece (Shockley) Rowe.
He married Vivian Alice McKinnon on Aug. 14, 1965, near Rolla.
Mr. Rowe was a member of Parkade Baptist Church in Columbia and had been retired from the 3M Corp. for 10 years. He was also a veteran of the Missouri National Guard.
Mr. Rowe is survived by his wife, Vivian, of Columbia; one daughter, Kimberley Rowe of Baltimore; two sons, Timothy Rowe of Boonville and Mark Rowe of Sidney, Maine; one brother, Dale Rowe of Rolla; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at Parkade Baptist Church with arrangements under the direction of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Dixon.
Memorials are suggested in lieu of flowers. Envelopes for donations are available at Parkade Baptist Church at 2102 N. Garth Ave. or the Dixon office of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes at 105 E. Third St.
