Nicole Jean Vanderlip

Nicole Jean Vanderlip, a student at Hickman High School, died on Thursday, Nov. 24 in an automobile accident. She was 18.

Ms. Vanderlip was born on Sept. 23, 1993, in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Marvin G. and Lisa M. (Clevenger) Vanderlip.

She attended Northwest schools in Jackson, Mich., from kindergarten to 10th grade before attending Hickman. She had just been accepted to Columbia College.

She is survived by her parents, Marvin and Lisa Vanderlip; her daughter, Kamri Gwen Vanderlip; two brothers, Michael Dyer and Stephen Vanderlip; grandfather Ron Clevenger and his wife, Brigette; a niece and a nephew; and many aunts and uncles.

Her grandfather, Gene Vanderlip, and grandmothers Judy Nelson and Stephanie Stewart died earlier.

Services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home, 411 Union Ave. in Moberly. Family will receive guests prior to services beginning at 1 p.m.
