Donald L. Wilmoth
Donald L. Wilmoth of Columbia died Monday, Dec. 19, 2011. He was 74.
He was born Aug. 1, 1937, in Oklahoma City to Marvin Lee and Elaine Eakens Wilmoth.
Mr. Wilmoth moved to Columbia when he was a senior in high school. He graduated from Hickman High School and attended MU.
In 1957, he married Reve Cunard at First Baptist Church in Columbia.
He served two years in the Army at the Fifth Army headquarters in Chicago. He then returned to Columbia, where he was the owner and an insurance agent at Don Wilmoth Insurance Agency for 33 years.
Mr. Wilmoth is survived by his wife, Reve, of Columbia; one son, Tim Wilmoth, and his wife, Robin, of Columbia; one daughter, Kelly Willis, and her husband, Ty, of Sammamish, Wash.; and five grandchildren, Ric Wilmoth, Monica Wilmoth, Bethany Willis, Madison Willis and Shelby Willis.
One brother Dean Wilmoth died earlier.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at the same location. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
