Kameron Clark 'KC' Gwin enjoyed friends, cars, music, video games

COLUMBIA — Kameron Clark "KC" Gwin of Columbia died Sunday, Jan. 1, 2012, in a car accident. He was 19.

He was born on March 11, 1992, to Jaime Sleper and Steven Gwin.

He graduated from Hickman High School in 2010 and was attending Moberly Area Community College.

Mr. Gwin enjoyed spending time with his friends, working on cars, playing video games and listening to music.

He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with his dog, Daisy.

Mr. Gwin is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jaime and Daniel Sleper; his father, Steven Gwin; two brothers, Austin Gwin and Matthew Gwin; grandparents, Dan and Jan Pennell, Clark and Sandy Gwin and David Sleper; his girlfriend, Robbi Wininger; and best friend, Richard Todd.

His grandmother, Ruth Anne “Shan” Pennell; an uncle, Joel Pennell; and a stepgrandmother, Elaine Sleper, died earlier.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W. Services, conducted by Chaplain Charles Barsamian, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, followed by interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
