Sandra Kay Cook of Harrisburg died Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at Boone Hospital Center. She was 55.
She was born Nov. 15, 1952, in California, Mo. to Arthur and Helen Ernst Holliday. She married Alfred L. Cook on Sept. 7, 1973, in Hallsville.
After working for State Farm Insurance for 30 years, Mrs. Cook retired in 1999. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with loved ones.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband; a son, James Cook of Mexico, Mo.; a daughter, Missy Smith of Harrisburg; her parents of Prairie Home; a brother, David Holliday of Fulton; a sister, Barbara Holliday of Prairie Home; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at Nilson Funeral Home, 5611 St. Charles Road. Services, conducted by the Rev. Louis Odneil, will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
