TOP 10 SPORTS MOMENTS OF 2013: No. 5 Stephens College soccer achieves 5th place

Stephens College soccer recorded its first goal and first win in program history this season. Sophomore goalkeeper Briannica Ponder also recorded 36 saves in a game on Oct. 8, breaking a 22-year-old NAIA saves record.

TOP 10 SPORTS MOMENTS OF 2013: No. 6 — Columbia College men's basketball's 'amazing ride'

On Jan. 15, the Cougars earned the program's first No. 1 NAIA ranking. The team finished its regular season play Feb. 23, undefeated for the first time in program history.

Ron Lykins, the men's wheelchair basketball coach at Missouri, will coach the U.S. paralympic men's wheelchair basketball team for the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. The National Wheelchair Basketball Association made the announcement in January.
