Downtown Columbia will be dancing tonight to the Swing’n Axes as the band performs in Courthouse Square to begin the September Twilight Festival.

Musicians will play free concerts all over downtown.

Although the structure of the event will remain the same, the bands and artists will be different, said Carrie Gartner, executive director of the Downtown Columbia Associations. Children can have their faces painted in the Kids Camp while their parents take a horse-drawn carriage ride around downtown.

The festival will run from 6 to 10 p.m. every Thursday in September.
