Controversial science discussed

Lecture is second part in series discussing stem cell research

The annual Perez-Mesa Lecture will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in MU’s Cornell Hall Auditorium.

“Beyond Therapy — How Far Should Medicine Go?” is the second part of a series on stem cell research.

The lecture will be conducted by Dr. Edmund Pellegrino, professor emeritus from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.

The event is open to the public, and a reception with light refreshments will follow the talk in the Great Room at Reynolds Alumni Center.
