At the 45th Annual Boone County Art Show on Sept. 25-26, Terry Oldham, director of the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in St. Joseph, judged 262 entries from 165 artists in 10 mediums — all in four hours.

“It was an endurance feat,” said Oldham.

Oldham roundly praised the many works on view, but acknowledged that he brings his own

aesthetic to judging.

“There never was and never will be a one-size-fits-all art,” he said.
