Kewpies earn 10th at 18-team event

The Hickman wrestling team placed 10th at the two-day, 18-team Springfield Holiday Tournament that ended Tuesday at Parkview High.

Ozark won the team title with 363.5 points and Carthage was second with 292.5. The Kewpies had 158.

Title winners K.C. Pescaglia and Zach Arnold led Hickman. Pescaglia went 10-0 at 125 pounds with eight pins. Arnold was undefeated at 189 pounds. Drae Cox was fifth at 140 pounds for the Kewpies, and Jordan Lanham was sixth at 130 pounds.
