Students at MU’s School of Agriculture
use the greenhouse as their classroom

Here are a few facts about the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources:

1 Students in the college can choose from among 14 degree programs and can now get a degree with an emphasis on sustainable agriculture.

2 The college leads MU in student retention and graduation rates.

3 The United States Congress designated MU the site for the National Center for Soybean Biotechnology.

4 The Division of Plant Sciences works with the Extension Plant Diagnostic Clinic, which identifies plant diseases, insects and weeds from samples sent in.

5 The Division of Plant Sciences is the only academic program in the state addressing issues related to plant production, plant protection and plant biology in the laboratory and the field.
