Golfing Tigers tie

The Tigers are in a three-way tie for ninth at the 16-team Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown after shooting a 299 Monday in the first round in Henderson, Nevada.

Junior Stephanie Wavro led the No. 30 Tigers with a 1-over 73 and is in a tie for 24th place. Denise Munzlinger shot 74, Madde Augustsson had 75, and Kelli Strubinger and Chelsea Schriewer each had 77s. The tournament will continue through Wednesday.
