JEFFERSON CITY — Gov. Matt Blunt on Wednesday named a Montgomery County judge to the Missouri Court of Appeals’ Eastern District in St. Louis.
Roy Richter, 55, of Montgomery City, will fill the seat left vacant since Judge Lawrence Crahan died in August.
Richter has been a Montgomery County judge since 1979. He said he will begin his new job as soon as a replacement is found for his current position.
