Rock Bridge wrestlers stick Eureka with defeat

The Rock Bridge wrestling team had an easy time in a 48-22 victory over visiting Eureka on Wednesday in which six Bruins recorded pins.

Taylor Crance moved his record to 22-2 for the Bruins (6-3) with a pin at 135 pounds, while Kyle Lewis (130), Kiffer Slate (140) Charlie Lay (152), Chirs Masters (171) and Dan Schufeldt (275) also pinned their opponents.

Rock Bridge girls’ basketball: The Bruins led throughout a 48-44 victory at California, moving ahead 26-13 at halftime and leading by as much as 15 in the third quarter. Ashley Dressler led Rock Bridge (11-1) with 18 points against California (6-6) Kartherine Harry followed with 12 points for the Bruins.
