MISSOURI SOFTBALL: First baseman Amanda Renth was named co-Big 12 Player of the Week on Tuesday. Renth shared the honor with Nebraska outfielder Lizzy Aumua.

This week was the first time the sophomore had been selected for the award. Renth and Aumua are the first players to receive the award this season. The award also marked the earliest in a season that a Missouri player has been selected.

The Tigers started their season Friday against No. 24 Georgia Tech with a three game series. The Tigers’ went 2-1. Renth played a big role in the series going 7-10 with two home runs.

COLUMBIA COLLEGE WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: The Cougars’ game at Williams Baptist originally scheduled for Tuesday was rescheduled for Thursday at 6 p.m.
