She also gained a focus. When Armour was 9 years old, her family made an abrupt move to Columbia and lived in shelters and public housing for several months. In a time of transition, the Imani Missions Center was a support system for her. Today she is a leader at Hickman High School, a volunteer for several community service organizations and plans to attend Tennessee State University in the fall.
