Car chase ends with arrest

A California man was arrested on numerous charges Friday after a car chase, which began in the 2000 block of Bernadette Drive.

Columbia police said the man fled in a stolen vehicle after pointing a gun at someone.

The suspect was arrested in Callaway County after his tires were deflated on eastbound Interstate 70.

Rueben Guitron, 23, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, first-degree tampering, resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia and assorted traffic-related offenses.
