The Rock Bridge tennis team (14-1) made short work of Jefferson City, 9-0. The Bruins dropped three games in six singles matches, and finished the dual meet in less than two hours.

Elizabeth Worsowicz, No. 1 singles player, beat Leslie Farmer 6-0, 6-0.

“I think she’s starting to play a bigger game,” Bruins coach Ben Loeb said, “and that will help her when she faces some better competition in the postseason.”

ROCK BRIDGE SOFTBALL: The Bruins (7-15) beat Odessa 12-2 in five innings Wednesday night at Rock Bridge. Freshman Amy Bildner threw a complete game six-hitter, and right fielder Kallie Carmichael had two hits and scored three runs.
