Columbia police made seven arrests after serving two narcotics search warrants in two hours Friday afternoon.

Around 4:35 p.m., officers served a search warrant for cocaine at 1504 Riva Ridge Court. They detained six adults and two children and seized about $25,000 cash, less than 35 grams of marijuana and less than a gram of crack cocaine, police said in a news release.

Stefan Williams, 43, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, the release said. Court documents show Williams was found guilty of second-degree drug trafficking in 1998 and has pleaded guilty to drug charges on other occasions.

Kaylicia Williams, 27, was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, police said. She is serving one year of unsupervised probation after pleading guilty to possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, court documents show.

Police list both as residents of the Riva Ridge Court home.

Eric Coats, 18, of 202 Pinewood Drive, was arrested on suspicion of an outstanding warrant, police said, for what court records show was his failure to appear in Boone County Circuit Court on four counts each of first-degree assault and armed criminal action.

A separate warrant was executed around 6:35 p.m. Friday at 1501 Vandiver Village Trailer Park, Lot No. 327. Police recovered about a quarter-pound of marijuana and a handgun, and detained seven adults and one child, according to a police news release.

One of the residents, Joseph Ouk, 25, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, second-degree child endangerment and an outstanding felony warrant, the release said, for what court records show was a charge of distributing controlled substances near schools.

Eva Luangasa, 24, also a resident of Lot No. 327, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and second-degree child endangerment, according to the news release.

Thavorak Ouk, 21, of 4008 Tropical Lane, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, police said.

A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, the release said.
