Corvettes and Mustangs with candy-tossing riders made their way through downtown Columbia on Friday afternoon as Rock Bridge and Hickman high schools celebrated homecoming together.

Light blue skies and temperatures in the low 70s provided an ideal setting for the festivities.

“This is perfect weather for a parade,” said Debbie Sally, of Columbia, while her husband, Jerome, picked up candy off the ground.

Students sitting in the back of trucks and standing on trailers held signs and wore T-shirts displaying their team.
