A Columbia woman was in fair condition Thursday afternoon after a one-car crash on Scott Boulevard on Wednesday evening, according to Columbia police.

Renee Wilberly, 38, was traveling south on Scott Boulevard at Chapel Hill Road when her car veered off the west side of the road and went airborne. The vehicle’s front end struck the ground, bringing it to an abrupt halt. Scott Boulevard has no curbs or gutters.

Wilberly was transferred to University Hospital for treatment. Police do not know whether she was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.
