1:47 p.m.: Our first controversial call of the game. Beavers' quarterback Matt Moore threw a ball that was originally ruled to have bounced off an Oregon State wide reciever and into the hands of Tigers' conerback Domonique Johnson.

Oregon State fans were calling for the play to be challenged. At the top of section four, Mary Jean Washburn, who was mentioned near the beginning of this web log, threw her hands up in excitement. But after the play went to review, her attitude changed.

"They're going to give it back to them," Washburn said. "It hit the ground."

It turned out she was right, the play was reversed.

Oregon State later punted in the drive. Missouri took over at its own 20-yard line.

Missouri could do nothing on offense before halftime.
