The Missouri section went from loud and racous to angry and dissapointed in a matter of one play. Matt Moore hit Joe Newton with a touchdown pass to make the score 38-37 in favor of the Tigers, with Oregon State an extra point away from tying the game. Most of the fans in the section wanted the play to be challenged.
The official's decision that the call on the field stood was met with boos from the fans. Oregon State decided to go for the two-point conversion and made it with a run by Yvenson Bernard to give the Beavers a 39-38 lead.
The looks on the faces of Missouri fans are stoic ones. Many of them are in disbelief over what has transpired in the last half of the fourth quarter. Some are so dissapointed they're leaving Sun Bowl Stadium in disgust. The two-point try also went under review, and almost no one on the Missouri side expected it to be overturned. It wasn't.
