While many people took the opportunity to enjoy the winter weather, others were not so fortunate. The storm that hit Missouri caused dozens of traffic jams and accidents. Statistics show that about 70 percent of injuries due to ice and snow result from vehicle accidents and that about 25 percent happen to people caught out in the storm.
