EeTisha Riddle will not be spending her spring break on the beach or on the mountains skiing. Instead, she will head to Cleveland for this weekend’s WNBA Pre-Draft Camp.

Riddle, a senior center for the Missouri women’s basketball team, is one of 51 players chosen to attend the camp in order to give coaches and general managers a preview of their skills before Wednesday’s WNBA Draft.

Although Missouri had a disappointing season with a 17-14 record, Riddle excelled, earning All Big 12 Conference honors. She was ranked fourth in scoring in the conference with 16.9 points per game. Riddle’s name also graces the top 10 of several other statistic categories within the Big 12, including rebounding, field-goal percentage and free-throw percentage.

Riddle, who is from O’Fallon, Ill., also rose in the Missouri record book. Her 524 points this season places her 13th among Tigers for a single season, and her 1,034 career points puts her in the top 25. Her 112 career blocks ranks eighth.

Players will undergo physical examinations conducted by league officials today. The camp will be held Friday and Saturday at Cleveland State University.

Riddle, who is likely to play forward in the WNBA, will be joined at the camp by five other players from the Big 12: Kiera Hardy, Nebraska; Tiffany Jackson, Texas; Lyndsey Medders, Iowa State; Bernice Mosby, Baylor; and Leah Rush, Oklahoma.

MU SOFTBALL: The Tigers swept their double header at Louisville on Wednesday, winning the first game 5-2 and the second 4-2.

Jen Bruck earned her third straight victory after throwing her fourth complete game in Game 1. Amanda Renth hit a three-run home run, her 12th of the season, over the left field wall to give the Tigers the lead in the sixth inning.

Jana Hainey was the Game 2 wining pitcher. Julie Silver hit a two-run home run to put the Tigers up 3-2, and Micaela Miner had an RBI and scored a run.
