For the third straight season the Missouri gymnastics team fell one place short of qualifying for the NCAA championships, finishing third Saturday night at the West Regional in Berkeley, Calif. However, Tigers sophomore Adrianne Perry will make her second appearance at the championships after finishing fifth in the regional’s all-around competition. Utah won the meet with a 197.325. Nebraska (196.675) was second, followed by Missouri, which had a 194.300. Perry, who narrowly missed all-America honors on beam at last year’s championships, will compete in this year’s finals that begin on April 26 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
