Jacob Priday, a junior on the Missouri baseball team, was named the Co-Big 12 Conference Player of the Week on Monday. Priday was 6-for-11 with three home runs and nine RBIs in the Tigers’ three-game sweep of Texas Tech over the weekend at Taylor Stadium.
Priday shared the award with Texas A&M’s Blake Stouffer, who hit .500 with three home runs and nine RBIs last week against Baylor.
It is the second such award for a Tigers player this season. Sophomore Rick Zagone was named Co-Big 12 Pitcher of the Week on April 9.
