PrintTwo Columbia men were charged with distribution of controlled substances in unrelated incidents Monday evening and early Tuesday morning, according to the Columbia Police Department.
Colin D. Webb, 24, was arrested at 713 North Ann St. Apt. 2 Monday evening and charged with two counts of distribution of controlled substances, the release stated. Police said they seized 1.6 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms and nine ounces of hydroponic marijuana. Police said the high-grade marijuana, nicknamed “Dro,” sells for $5,000 a pound compared to normal marijuana, which sells for $400 to $600 a pound.
Michael Carter, 25, was arrested Tuesday morning in his driveway at 4381 Santa Barbara Drive and also charged with two counts of distribution of controlled substances.
Carter was in possession of marijuana and approximately 25 grams of high-grade methamphetamine referred to as “ICE,” the release stated. The marijuana was packaged for sale, which prompted the distribution charge, Columbia police Sgt. Scott Young said.
Boone County Jail said Carter was released on $10,000 bond.
Webb remained in custody as of Tuesday afternoon. His bond was set at $9,000

i think that its really good that they caught him. my brother was addicted to painkillers and had to go to treatment for them. he is clean now but i always go on sites like www.addicted.com or on myspace addiction groups and places like that to get advise on how to keep him clean. i read some pretty bizarre stories of people who are or were addicted to ICE and coke and thing such as that. and theyre very disturbing, if we get as much dealers off the streets as we can would be a very good thing to our society and our citizens.
