Two men are being sought in connection with a hit-and-run accident that Columbia police say occurred when the men’s car struck a cyclist.
The incident happened early Thursday morning near the intersection of Old 63 and Broadway.
Columbia police Sgt. Tim Moriarity said the two men were driving a compact car that witnesses described as being either blue or green.
The woman, whose name was not available from police, was taken to the hospital where she was treated and released.
The men were driving east on Broadway when they struck the woman at about 1:15 a.m. in front of Eastgate Apartments, Moriarity said. He said they continued to drive east on Broadway after hitting the cyclist.
