Reactor drill canceled

An emergency drill scheduled for today at the MU Research Reactor Center has been canceled due to rain, according to MU spokesman Christian Basi.

The drill, which was to involve the Columbia Fire and Police Departments, MU Police and University Hospital, was scheduled to take place Monday morning.

MU plans to reschedule the drill, which is required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission every two years.
