Authorities looking for sexual predator

Authorities in Missouri and Iowa are asking for the public’s help in locating a sexual predator believed to be hiding at truck stops along interstates.

Russell Eugene Blessman is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and police in Iowa for the sexual assault of a child. He is known to frequent truck stops to connect to the Internet and is believed to be in Missouri. He is considered armed and dangerous by police. Marshals are asking that anyone with information contact them directly at 515-284-6240 or 877-WANTED2.

Blessman, 56, is 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 360 pounds. He has short, light brown hair and may have a light moustache. Police do not know what kind of vehicle he is traveling in.
