PrintLance Matheny, 7 of Ashland, lefts his ham to the entry table on Thursday at the Boone County Fairgrounds for the ham show. According the Boone County Fair Web site, the annual ham contest is a pre-fair event and the top 40 hams will be auctioned following the Ham Breakfast Saturday. Any hams that aren't claimed are donated to the Missouri Food Bank. The fair runs July 23 - 29.
