Ready for the county fair

Horse shows, dog shows and ham judging, among other activities, have filled the weekend leading up to the official start of the Boone County Fair. The fair kicks off at 4 p.m. Monday at the county fairgrounds.

The parade held Saturday morning on Broadway was one of the pre-fair activities leading up to the official start of the Boone County Fair on Monday afternoon.
