Boone County Associate Circuit Court Judge Larry Bryson sentenced Jin Lan Paio on Tuesday to 30 days in jail and a $200 fine for prostitution. Bryson then suspended Paio’s jail sentence but ordered that she not be on the premises of Fuji Sauna.

Officers were called to Fuji Sauna, 711-A Vandiver Drive, in January after an offended male patron said he was offered sexual services for money, said Columbia police Capt. Zim Schwartze.

Schwartze said police investigated and were able to charge several people with crimes, including one customer. Police also arrested Yang H. Yoon, 58, on suspicion of second-degree promotion of prostitution and Stephen L. Wallace, 58, on suspicion of patronizing prostitution, court records show. The court sentenced Wallace to a $200 fine in April, according to MissouriCase.net.
