The Board of Curators is scheduled to interview UM System presidential candidates Thursday in St. Louis.
At the curators’ regularly scheduled meeting on July 27, board President Don Walsworth said he planned to have three to five candidates to present to the Presidential Search Advisory Committee by the end of August. The board will make the final decision after hearing input from the search committee.

This is the second round of interviews to replace Elson Floyd as UM System president. The No. 1 candidate turned down the job for another position in the private sector in May.
The curators will meet Thursday at 8:45 a.m. at the Forsyth Room of the Renaissance Suites Hotel, 827 Washington Ave. in St. Louis, and are expected to vote to go into closed session to conduct the interviews until about 5 p.m.
