Here’s a list of the Columbia landmarks added to the National Register of Historic Places in the past 10 years.

• William B. Hunt House, built 1862 around an 1832 log cabin, 8939 W. Terrapin Hills Road (1997)

• John N. and Elizabeth Taylor House, built 1909, 716 W. Broadway (2001)

• Hamilton-Brown Shoe Factory, built 1906, 1123 Wilkes Blvd. (2002)

• Virginia Building, built 1911, 111 S. Ninth St. (2002)

• Eighth and Broadway Historic District, built between 1894 and 1930, 800-810 E. Broadway (2003)

• Ballenger Building, built 1892, 27-29 S. Ninth St. (2004)

• North Ninth Street Historic District, built 1885, 5-36 N. Ninth St. (2004)

• Central Dairy Building, built 1927, 1104-1106 E. Broadway (2005) 

• Kress Building, built 1910, 1025 E. Broadway (2005)

• McCain Furniture Store, built 1930, 916 E. Walnut St. (2005)

• Stephens College South Campus, built between 1917 - 1941, 1200 E. Broadway (2005)

• Coca-Cola Bottling Building, built 1935, 10 Hitt St. (2006)

• Downtown Columbia Historic District, parts of Broadway and Seventh, Eighth, Ninth, Tenth, Cherry, Hitt, Locust and East Walnut streets. (2006)
