St. Louis Rams ownership announced Monday it has purchased 900 tickets for Thursday night’s preseason game against the Kansas City Chiefs, ensuring a sellout and preventing a local television blackout.

The Rams’ other preseason game, against the Chargers on Aug. 18, was not sold out.

Tickets remained for the Rams’ first two home games, Sept. 9 against the Carolina Panthers and Sept. 16 against the San Francisco 49ers, plus home games against the Cardinals, Browns, Seahawks and Falcons. Two of the home games, against the Packers and Steelers, are sellouts.
