COLUMBIA — The Boone County Sheriff’s Department was looking for a Columbia man Wednesday they said violated an order of protection brought by his ex-girlfriend.
Boone County Associate Circuit Judge Christopher Kelly, who is now retired, issued the order in June 2005 against Kevin Michael Ridlehoover, 44. He violated the order soon after it was issued, and a warrant for his arrest was issued, Sgt. Michael Stubbs said. Stubbs declined to say how Ridlehoover violated the order of protection.
Ridlehoover is also wanted in connection with the assault of another woman two to three weeks ago, Stubbs said. The Boone County Prosecutor’s office had not filed charges in connection with those incidents as of Wednesday afternoon, according to Missouri Case.net.
Stubbs said the sheriff’s department fears what will happen if Ridlehoover is not found soon.
“We’re afraid that without public help, his pattern of domestic violence will proliferate,” he said.
