COLUMBIA - The Jefferson City Jays stood no chance against Rock Bridge, losing every match in straight sets and not even winning a game in eight of 19 sets. The Bruins have won three matches in a row since the Great 8 Tournament two weekends ago.

Loeb rearranged his doubles lineup, pushing the No. 2 team of senior Allison Wulff and junior Lauren Kane into the number one slot. The move, sparked by Loeb’s intention to prepare the team for its tournament this weekend, paid dividends. The Bruins beat Jays’ No. 1 doubles team 6-2, 6-2. The usual No. 1 doubles team, seniors Elizabeth Worsowicz and Whitley Zitsch, divided to play with the respective members of the usual No. 3 doubles team, freshman Kelsey Kinderknecht and sophomore Sarah Heeter. Worsowicz/Kinderknecht won 6-3, 6-2 and Zitsch/Heeter won 6-4, 6-0.
