I enjoyed the cartoon, but a sign in the background says "MU Curators." What are "MU Curators"? There is a body called "University of Missouri Curators," but so far as we're aware there is not one called "MU Curators."

University of Missouri System has been in business for almost 45 years. When are folks in Columbia going to acknowledge that there are FOUR campuses in the system, not just one? The combined enrollment of the other three campuses is greater than that of MU.

According to a recent article by Associated Press, UMKC and UMSL faculty councils are considering contesting MU's bid for a name change. We'll see.

I assumed people could make the leap from "MU Curators" to "University of Missouri Curators," which might look a little cluttered in the background. And it is presumptuous for MU-C to be THE University of Missouri, plasma-screen gym enhanced enrollment notwithstanding. There might be better things to spend time on--much ado about nothing, once again. Thanks for the comment.
