COLUMBIA — A home in southeast Columbia was burglarized early Thursday morning, police said.

There were no injuries, but the two victims, both men in their early 20s, had a laptop stolen from the home in the 1800 block of Quarry Park Drive, according to a Columbia police news release.

One of the victims awoke when the suspect entered the home. He confronted the suspect, who then fled the home on foot, police said.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 20 and 25 years old and 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a slender build, short brown hair and a tattoo on his right biceps muscle. A white sedan was seen leaving the neighborhood shortly after the suspect fled.
