ST. LOUIS — Humane Society investigators say they believe they’ve discovered a missing bull in downtown St. Louis. It has been on the loose after a double-decker truck carrying 62 of the animals overturned on a bridge ramp.
Missouri Humane Society spokeswoman Jeane Jae said the animal is in a wooded area around 3800 S. First St. She said it’s not clear what condition the bull is in, as investigators are still trying to round up the animal.
Seventeen bulls died after the truck overturned early Thursday.
Animal rescue crews said the bulls were headed from Kentucky to a feed lot in Colorado when the load shifted and the truck overturned.
