Charity horse show raises money for multiple organizations

COLUMBIA — The Calvary Episcopal Charity Horse Show is organized to provide an opportunity for showing horses in a low-key environment, while accruing donations for Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center, Family Dental Center, Court Appointed Special Advocates and the Food Bank of the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. The show takes place at Midway Expo Center, off Exit 121 west of Columbia. It began Thursday and continues through Sunday. The competition features several events, including Stable Dog Class and an Arabian Native Costume horse show. For more information, call 445-8338.
