COLUMBIA — The Columbia/Boone County Health Department plans to offer flu vaccinations at three clinics in the next four weeks.
The vaccines will be available in both shot and nasal spray forms. The charge for a vaccination is $20. For an additional $30, pneumonia vaccines will be available.
The clinics will be held at the health department, 1005 Worley St.
The department has 5,400 shots available, and spokeswoman Deidre Wood does not expect a shortage. Last year, there were fewer flu cases than in previous years, but it is hard to predict what this year’s season will bring, Wood said.
“Anybody who doesn’t want to get the flu should get the shot,” Wood said.
