A tree fell on Klik's bar at about 11 p.m. Wednesday as severe weather rolled through Columbia.

Storms rumbled through Columbia on Wednesday night, bringing flashes of lightning, gusts of wind and torrential downpours. While there were no reports of injuries or major property damage, there were some signs that Mother Nature had stirred up a hullabaloo.

Outside Klik's bar on Tenth Street between Ash and Park streets, winds blew a tree over onto the building. Thursday morning its splintered remains were marked by a simple cinderblock tombstone with "RIP" spray-painted in gold.
