AUSTIN - The Missouri women's soccer team lost in overtime for the second straight game, this time by a score of 3-2 at No. 7 Texas Friday night.

The No. 12 Tigers jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first eight minutes on goals by Janelle Cordia and Michelle Collins. However, two Texas goals later in the first half created a 2-2 halftime tie.

After a scoreless second half, Texas won on a 97th minute goal by Kasey Moore, her second of the game.

"We came out at halftime and had a good second half against a good Texas team," Blitz said. "I felt like our kids really played hard."

The loss dropped Missouri to 10-4 overall and 4-2 in Big 12 play.
