COLUMBIA - Iowa State's Jordan Bishop scored a goal in the second minute of overtime to hand the Missouri women's soccer team a 1-0 loss Friday night at Walton Stadium.

After 90 scoreless minutes of regulation, Bishop's shot bounced off of the left post of the goal and went in, breaking the scoreless tie.

"They played with desperation to get to the Big 12 Tournament and we didn't," coach Bryan Blitz said. "I think that was the biggest difference. It was another hard lesson for our group."

Missouri is now 11-5 overall and 5-3 in Big 12. Each of Missouri's three conference losses have been in overtime.

"Obviously, it's really tough losing a third game in overtime," sophomore Crystal Wagner said. "It's quite frustrating, especially because I feel like we really outplayed them."
