COLUMBIA — The No. 15 Missouri women’s soccer team came from behind to defeat Nebraska 3-1 Sunday at Walton Stadium.

Tigers junior Mallory Forst, a goalkeeper who has played some at forward this year, scored her first career goal in the first half to tie the game.

Michelle Collins and Kristin Andrighetto each scored a goal in the second half.

MU coach Bryan Blitz said the game was a good test of his team’s resolve after an overtime loss to Iowa State on Friday night.

“It was a game we needed.” Blitz said. “To go down a goal early and really kind of see where our character is after Friday.”

The Tigers (12-5 overall, 6-3 in Big 12) finish the regular season Friday at Kansas.
