The Hickman football team has been bumped up one spot to No. 4 in the Class 6 polls by a 12-member panel of sportswriters and broadcasters throughout the state of Missouri.

The Kewpies won against Fort Zumwalt South 45-7 on Friday to move their record to 7-2 and 2-0 in district play. Former No. 4 Jefferson City lost at home to Fort Zumwalt West to drop out of the top five.

The Kewpies will conclude their regular season Friday night against Jefferson City at Hickman Field. A win will give the Kewpies the Class 6 District 6 title, and the winner of the district advances to the Class 6 state playoffs to face DeSmet on Friday, Nov. 9 in Creve Coeur in the quarterfinal round.
