Coach Stephanie Priesmeyer was pleased with the team’s ability to play with the best.

“This was a tournament where I thought we had a great chance to move up in the rankings. We were able to finish ahead of TCU and BYU, which are a couple of top 30 teams, It gives us some confidence to come out and play well in the spring,” the coach said.

The Tigers fall play was highlighted by a victory in the inaugural Johnie Imes Invitational, which they hosted atThe Club at Old Hawthorne. Potter led the team this season with individual victories in both the Johnie Imes Invitational and the Marilyn Smith Sunflower Invitational in Manhattan, Kan.

The team will open up the 2008 schedule with the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla. on Feb. 18-19.
